North Shore Academy
Day camp
The Rive-Nord Academy offers a structured and stimulating environment for young male and female players 7 to 14 years old who wish to prepare for their season, develop their skills and gain confidence on the ice. Each participant is supported for a minimum of 7 hours a day , in an organized and supportive environment.
Our programs are based on the foundations of modern hockey, both in terms of technical that tactics . We also place great importance on education: perseverance, teamwork, attitude, responsibility — essential values transmitted in an environment that skillfully combines pleasure And learning.

What is included in each week:
- 12:30 of ice
- 5 hours of specific training
- 5 hours of team sports (Lachenaie)
- 5 hours of dek hockey (Terrebonne)
- Game Changer Hockey gift for all participants
The camps are open to boys and girls, players and goalkeepers, Novice, Atom, Peewee and Bantam levels.
Typical program – Players
During the week, the players work on, among other things:
- Overall skills development
- Skating techniques (balance, posture, push-off, transitions, explosiveness)
- Agility, speed, changes of direction
- Handling, control and washer protection
- Approach to the bearer
- Feints and individual tactics (1 vs 1)
- Passes (quality, reception, release)
- Shots (accuracy, power, mechanics)
Typical Program – Goalkeepers
Specialized coaching with a dedicated trainer:
- Basic techniques and starting position
- Controlled movements
- Butterfly, laterality, stability
- Management and control of rebounds
- Reading the game and positioning according to the threats
- Individual and small group workshops
Power Skating – Summer 2026
The Hockey Academies offer specialized Power Skating camps for Novice, Atom, Peewee, and Bantam players. These camps are designed to improve speed, stability, efficiency, and overall skating mechanics, with an emphasis on the technical details of modern hockey. Sessions include a combination of ice time and practice in the mid- to late-afternoon, depending on the group.
What is included in each week
- 7:30 am ice time
- Additional practice in the mid- to late afternoon
